I wrote this yesterday on January 1, 2018. It seemed like the perfect day to think about this new year.
I’m not sure I could articulate this any better so I wanted to share this with you. A friend of mine wrote the following yesterday on Facebook. This is my wish for you as well.
“As we start 2018, I don’t wish that the new year is good for you, I instead wish that you find it within yourself to make it a good year.
As with each year before, this year will have its moments of pain, loss and grief; but there will also be moments of pleasure, growth and joy. In the end, your attitude and outlook will determine if the year is bad or good. It’s your perseverance that will bring you to the eve of the year. I hope at the end that you will be able to say that YOU made it a good year.
And that is the best I can wish for you.”
So what does 2018 look like for Stepping Stones Wellness? There will be a number of changes; some being implemented immediately while others will happen as the year progresses.
Let’s Talk about Sex with Sandy is being revised somewhat. Going forward it will be known as “Sex, Hormones and Nutrition with Sandy”. You guessed it … we’ll be talking all things sex, hormone and nutrition related. I want to help you achieve great health, loads of energy and a fabulous sex life because trust me, when your sexual relationship is on point, so many other aspects of your life will be as well, especially if you’re in a relationship. As always, I am totally open to questions, concerns, suggestions of topics as it relates to these issues. I don’t talk to hear myself talk; I do this to educate and clarify. The show will be moving to Tuesday nights at 8:00 p.m. and will generally last about 15 minutes. You can join us live or catch the replay HERE or you can find me on YouTube HERE.
I’ll be releasing several ebooks this year; the first one will be released on January 31, 2018 and it’s dealing with men’s health. It’s not all about testosterone but that is one powerful hormone and can affect pretty much every aspect of a man’s life. So I’ll be sharing with you things to look out for, solid nutritional practices as well as lifestyle choices to help improve your health. This will be followed by an ebook on women’s health, one on improving your sex life and finally one for general overall good health and nutrition. I’m also working on a major book but you won’t be seeing that one this year. 😉
Workshops will resume here in Ajax but with a few twists. I’ll be inviting other practitioners to join me to share their wisdom with you as well. I’m not sure about the venue yet; this is one of the “works in progress” for 2018.
I will be doing more Facebook Live posts on the Stepping Stones Wellness page with reminders on living your best life. Instagram will have more consistent content with the “did you know” series, the wellness tip of the day as well as pics of food that I’m whipping up or coming across. It’s gonna be a very busy year.
As I look forward to all that 2018 has to offer, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my life, the people in it, the lessons I’ve learned and have yet to learn. I’m looking forward to interacting with you more. So how can I help?
If you’re feeling rather bloated and experiencing the “OMG I can’t believe I ate/drank like that over the holidays” blues, there are a few ways I can help you. Instead of chemical cleanses, I offer a 10-day whole foods detox program which you can find HERE. It’s a really good, gentle way to jumpstart the new year. If you haven’t indulged too badly but just have excess weight that won’t go away, your hormones are out of whack or your energy level has bottomed out, there is the 6-week Step into Sexy program which is much more than just a weight loss program. It includes meal plans, shopping lists and a ton of information. If you need energy, hormone balancing or weight loss, this program is for you and can be found HERE.
If you need more personalized assistance, I do offer one on one consults, which you can find HERE.
OK that’s it for self promotion for now 😉
Wishing you all the very best that life has to offer, as well as encouragement to go after what you want in life.
