You are what you eat!

You eat a nutritious meal, drink plenty of water to rehydrate yourself, move a little, then get ready to take on the day, full of vitality. You don’t feel stressed out and you can handle anything life throws at you. If this doesn’t sound like you, come join me on the path back to good health and vibrancy.

Nutrition
I know it can be confusing. There are SO many “diets”, it’s challenging to know which one is best for you. Here’s the thing … there’s no one right answer but I can help you sort through the confusion to figure out the best nutritional plan for YOU. When you eat according to what works best for your body, you can deal with stress better, your hormones are balanced, your moods are stable and you even have energy for sex!

Stress
There are two types of stress - short term (OMG I forgot to make lunches and the kids have to leave in 5 minutes) and chronic, unrelenting, unmanaged stress (chronic illness, a job you hate, an unhappy relationship). Unmanaged stress has been an issue for many years but has gotten much worse in the past couple of years. Just as being overweight or obese can increase inflammation and put you at risk for a whole host of health issues, unmanaged stress can do a lot of the same things. Let’s figure out a holistic plan to help you manage stress better, improve your health and your relationship.

Weight
Excess weight is not about aesthetics or fitting into a size or having a certain shape. It’s about your health. Excess fat affects your heart, lungs, libido, hormones (that’s a huge topic on its own), stamina and your ability to do many things. It increases inflammation in the body and puts you at risk for cancer, autoimmune disease, viruses, circulatory problems and so much more. Let’s work together to determine the best course of action for getting you to a healthy weight so you can enjoy life to its fullest.

Sleep Disturbances
Lack of sleep (whether it’s having trouble getting or staying asleep) affects your energy, vitality, brain function, weight and overall health. Often unmanaged stress or unbalanced hormones are at the root of insomnia and other sleep disturbances. Excess bodyfat can mean the difference between wearing a CPAP machine in order to get enough oxygen or sleeping through the night on your own. Let me help you get a good night’s sleep again.
