Regain your joy of sex!
Whether you’re going through perimenopause or menopause, it’s easy to get frustrated with what your body and your mind are doing to you. You may be experiencing brain fog, low libido, insomnia or increased weight to name a few. Stress might be getting the better of you resulting in feeling angry and short tempered or exhausted and mildly depressed. Your relationships (including the one with yourself) may be taking a beating. Come join me on a journey to get your energy, joy and vitality back.
Perimenopause – Perimenopause can last anywhere from a few months to several years. Your hormones are fluctuating and you have to be really careful if you don’t want to get pregnant. If you’re trying to get pregnant you might be having a lot of difficulty due to declining hormones. You might have estrogen dominance where you have too much estrogen compared to progesterone which increases your risk of certain cancers. You might have too little estrogen and lose your libido altogether. And if you have babies during this time it can throw your hormones completely out of whack. Let’s work on this together so you can regain your vitality and your sex drive. You’re far too young to not enjoy sex.
Menopause – Isn’t menopause a wonderful time of life? Estrogen drops, you start to dry out internally and externally, gain weight, insomnia hits and you’ve lost your interest in sex. Together we can reignite your libido, get the excess weight under control, and get your joy for life back. Why is sex important? It helps boost your immune system, strengthens pelvic floor, protects your heart, helps with insomnia and so much more.
Hormones – Women need a balance between estrogen, progesterone and testosterone to maintain a healthy sex drive and vitality. Insulin, melatonin, cortisol and numerous other hormones also play a part in maintaining good health, a strong libido and subsequently a healthy sex life.
Low Libido – There are many reasons for low libido; some are hormonal, others revolve around your mindset and/or or partner and sometimes it’s just circumstances. Let me help you discover what the cause of your lack of interest is and we can rev up that desire for sex and intimacy with your partner.
This is huge. When stress is unmanaged, cortisol levels spike and can wreack havoc with your peace of mind, your hormone levels, your sleep and your overall health. Let’s work together to figure out what’s causing the stress and how we can manage it to protect your health, your sex life and your relationship.
This is a fun one and something that’s not talked about a lot. Prescription meds for diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, depression, anxiety and even birth control pills can really dampen your desire. We can work together, along with your doctor, to improve your health and reignite that spark and improve your relationship with your partner.
Sound familiar? Let's talk about it.
